The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Sokoto chapter has revealed that Vice-Chancellors of some tertiary institutions are misusing the COVID-19 lockdown to defraud unaware parents and students. According to the Zonal Coordinator, Jamilu Shehu, the alleged institutions perpetuate the act by pretending to keep the academic session running.
